Snappville.com Copyright Policy
Snappville.com advocates its belief that the rights of copyright holders
should be respected and protected. The management of the website strongly
disapproves any activity by any of its members in violation of copyright laws
within the United States of America. Because it is impossible for us to censor
every single piece of material posted by the users of our service, we rely on
users, copyright owners and their agents to help us to identify cases of
copyright infringement.
If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that
constitutes copyright infringement, please provide Snappville.com with the following
information in the form of a Notice of Claims of Copyright Infringement through
mail to the copyright agent of Snappville.com:
1. An electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to
act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest;
2. A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been
infringed;
3. A description of where the material that you claim is
infringing is located on the site;
4. Your address, telephone number, and e-mail address;
5. A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the
disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
6. A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the
above information in your Notice is accurate and that you are the copyright
owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

Snappville.com will take the following steps to protect third parties'
intellectual property rights if it receives a Notice of Copyright Infringement:
1. Send an e-mail to the owner of the suspected infringing
material informing him/her that the suspected material is under copyright
infringement investigation, requesting them to clarify the ownership of the
suspected material, suggesting the suspected material be removed from the
location if he/she could not provide valid argument of their proper usage of
the material;
2. Investigate on the case of the Notice to verify the validity of
your claim;
3. Remove the infringing material from the website if the case is
proved to be infringing, or reject your claim if the case is proved not to be
infringing, or request more supporting material from you if a sound judgment on
the case cannot be reached with all material and evidence gathered;
4.Issue a warning e-mail to the owner of the infringing material,
if your claim is proved to be valid;
5. Suspend or revoke the membership of repeated copyright law
violators. |
